Dying without my iPhone?

I FORGOT to put my iPhone in my pocket this AM!!
I should be dead by now - but... it is late in the afternoon and I survived the day without the handy-dandy cell phone. Tomorrow is only a few hours away!

No news, sports news, no email, and no access to my calendar on the shuttle - too lazy to open up the laptop for these things!! Had to go back to the computer!! Imagine that! Old school survival tactics in the wild! Phew!

The Microsoft - Yahoo! Wedding.

Don't have much to add to the comments and speculation about the Microsoft-Yahoo deal that are abundant across the Web. I agree with the sentiments in this post (is Yahoo! male or female? :-))

However, a comment from my 8-year old caught my attention. While discussing this casually at home during mealtime, my "Internet-savvy" 8-year old exclaims, "If Microsoft buys Yahoo!, I'm going to be mad!"

"Why?" (was this 'coz I was at Yahoo for a while ..?)

"Well - if Yahoo! mail goes away, where will I get my email? I'll have to go to Google or something..."
